Early December and Peanut Butter Balls

Brenna had her 8 week appointment on December 3rd. Dr. Bob thinks she is doing great - she is now in the 25% for weight and is up to 9 lbs, 6 oz. She is in the 45% for length as well. They are still calling her a 'slow grower' and think that being sick probably delayed her development 4-6 weeks but she should catch up quickly. She has made significant progress the last week in her eating so hopefully we are on the right track!

My baby loves to smile!

So awake!
Several people have asked if Brenna looks like Jacob when he was 2 months old. Below are two pictures of Jacob at 8 weeks - above is Brenna at 8 weeks. What do you think?
I think there is a resemblance but I think Brenna is going to be the blue eyed, fair skin baby and of course Jacob is darker complected.

Jacob helping Daddy and Steve (neighbor and friend) install the fireplace blower. Steve is Jacob's buddy for sure and Jacob gets very excited when he is outside or comes to visit.

Jacob LOVING his hat!! He won't take it off!

Baby Brenna sleeping with her arm up in the air .. so cute!

Every year the Beffa family has a tradition of making peanut butter balls (we called them Buckeye's growing up). We all get together for a day of rolling and dipping and playing with cousins. Here are a few pictures of this year's event.

Aunt DeAnna washing Jacob's hands so he can 'help'

Look at all those balls to be dipped! YUMMY!

Jacob didn't really get the concept.. he basically ate his entire bowl that he was supposed to ball. The look on his cousin's face is priceless!

Brenna was there too but a little too young to roll or dip :)
